Gherardi & Moore have been my dentist for over 5 years now and my most recent appointment continues to highlight just how good these folks are. I now live in Santa Fe, but I still come to Gherardi & Moore for any and all dental visits. Their ‘new’ offices (since 2021?) are extremely clean and well outfitted. I never seem to wait more than 2 minutes before getting brought in. The hygienists are always friendly and Dr. Moore is always a character. I recently switched dental insurance plans to my wife’s plan and they couldn’t have made it easier for me. This place has my loyalty.

I have been going to see Dr Moore for my dental needs for over 12 years now. Love his calm and sensitive chair side manner, as I am super nervous in general and lean towards terrified at the dentist. He is very good at applying the topical anesthetic then doing the numbing injections with the littlest pain possible. I have had nearly every procedure available from fillings (amalgam and composite), temporary fillings, crowns, cleanings, mouthguard, post dental implant , flipper, and more than one emergency. They always get me in asap and I was even in contact with Dr Moore on Thanksgiving day one year when i had an unexpected issue. Last time even with a palate injection I can honestly say it didn’t hurt. He also offers nitrous oxide for an additional charge which helps numb the anxiety and the pain a lot. His support staff is also very excellent. He even has a plan for reduced charges for those without insurance. Can’t recommend them Moore ! 🤭

I've had the pleasure of having both Drs. Dave and Sean Moore work on my teeth. They saved me a huge headache from a developing issue. The hygienists that have cleaned my teeth and assistants that have been there for all of my appointments have been phenomenal! The front office staff are always welcoming and seem to be constantly providing super service to the doctors, staff, and patients alike with exceptional professionalism! I have been with Gherardi and Moore for 6+ years now. This is a PROFESSIONAL establishment. The staff is always smiling and making jokes. This makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. I get the sense that people are happy to be there. The staff at the front desk know their stuff too! Friendly, effecient, and experienced. I would recommend Gherardi & Moore to anyone! We have 4 kids and dentists are not always easy--until we found Dr. Gherardi and ALL of his staff. They are amazing! Not only do they do an excellent job on all of our dentistry needs (very thorough and thoughtful) but they also make us feel welcome, almost like family by now. We have been with them for about 3 years and hope to continue with them for many years to come.

As usual, The Drs. Gherardi managed to pull my chestnuts out of the fire--that is a broken molar needing repair! I was able to get an appointment in 3 days, which was wonderful. Yesterday he helped replace a crown, a poorly placed crown by one of those strip mall dental places. He and Gracie, his hygienist, were so gentle and non-judge mental. Throughout my entire visit I felt no discomfort and even today my mouth feels great and healthy. Definitely worth my time and money for the longevity of my oral health! Thank you team!

Dr Joe Gherardi preformed an emergency extraction of one of my molars. My original appt was scheduled for 7/29, but do to the tooth pain I was having, I was able to get in on 7/25. He is so knowledgeable, professional, patient & kind. He called me at home the same evening to make sure I was doing OK. All the doctors & staff are exceptional at Gherardi & Moore.

Gherardi & Moore is a great family dental practice. The staff and providers are friendly and competent. Their new facility is warm and comfortable. It’s not always pleasant to visit a dentist, but this practice does their very best to make their patients comfortable! My almost 90 year old father in law (not a patient), who is in assisted living had a toothache and the staff were able to get him an appointment within a week. The staff and providers were very patient and caring with him, taught him techniques for self care. He was extremely happy with his visit!

We (wife & I) have been patient for about six years. We have had all kinds of work done, because of past work from " fly by night" workmanship by others. We now both have healthy teeth and gums. Thanks to Gherardi & Moore and their staff.

The staff is friendly and courteous. Dr Gherarde is very patient and explains everything well discussing all options available. Some dentists you feel are telling you what you need to or have to do, yet Dr Gherarde totally leaves you feeling like you can make an informed decision based on what is best for you. I will recommend this office to anyone looking for a good dentist, something I have found to be difficult to find these days. They came highly recommended to me and I am happy to have recieved a referral to them from a friend of a friend.

HIGHLY recommend this dental practice. My mother has been going here for decades (which says more than anyone here will EVER know) and now myself and children come to this practice well. The technology offered is state of the art. I have had a crown, a guided tissue regeneration using my own white blood cells to stimulate bone growth and a gum transplant for recession, in addition to prophylactic care. All successful procedures with little pain or discomfort. My son has successfully completed full orthodontic services as well. It is a high quality, friendly and honest dental office that will always have the patient in the forefront of every decision. They are in a brand new beautiful but modest building. I had a very painful dying tooth on the bottom that had to be pulled, along with a tooth being put on my partial to replace that one. I also already had a tooth missing from my upper partial that I needed to have replaced and had several cavities that had to be fixed where my partials clipped in or those teeth were going to become a problem. If that wasn’t enough I had a time constraint of one week. Dr Gherardi was recommended by one of my good friends. They got me in right away and got to work on me! The doctor and staff were professional, competent, caring and so kind! I felt right at home! I walked out of their office feeling like a new person with a great big smile!! This is a great dental practice. Their professionalism is incredible and they are always ready to work with you financially, emotionally, or any way you need to be supported. Also their offices are beautiful, safe and clean.

This was my first visit and I’m quite impressed! I left my last dentist for numerous reasons, but when I had complained of my TMJ pain, the old dentist shrugged and told me that’s what happens with TMJ. Wow! For starters, G&M’s staff was friendly and thorough. Then when I met Dr. Gherardi, he gave me exercises to help relieve the tension in my jaw. And this was at an initial consultation! Although it was my first visit, it truly was a breath of fresh air.

My family has been going to this office for over 20 years! They have consistently delivered quality service, friendliness, care and compassion. I could not imagine going to any other dentist because of what I receive with them. It feels like an extension of our family because they always remember us and we have great conversations as if time hadn't passed. My family switched to Gherardi & Moore a couple of years ago when our previous dentist retired and we weren't happy with his replacement. We have been thrilled with Drs. Gherardi and Moore! This weekend I had a toothache and finally broke down and called Dr. Moore on Sunday. He got me started on an antibiotic and the office called me at 7 am this morning with an 8:10 appointment! Dr. Joe Gherardi did a root canal on my infected tooth, and I feel a 1000% better --- good enough to return to seeing my own patients this afternoon. Thank you, Gherardi & Moore!!

I would not trust my teeth to anyone else. I ( my whole family) started with Dr Gherardi in the 70’s, and since then his practice has grown to a team of 3 dentists. They just welcomed Dr Gherardi’s son to the practice and soon, Dr. Moore’s son will also be joining the practice. I’ll see you again in 6 months.

Yesterday I had my teeth cleaning appointment so must start by saying the dental hygienists are all careful. Because Dr. Gherardi & a dental hygienist stressed to me the importance of daily flossing; I have changed my routine (2 years ago) to include this in my dental care at home. As a result, cleanings are not stressful/painful And it has prevented recent needs for dental work. Thank you for striving to educate for the health of your patients. I also have had Dr. R Gherardi, Dr. J Gherardi, & Dr. Moore be my dentist on different occasions. They are all three excellent and I trust each of them for experienced and knowledgeable dental care. I can highly recommend Gherardi & Moore. They are professional in every way, from the time I walked in the front door to Sally's review of the Covid 19 protocols. Dr. Gherardi, as always, was excellent in his treatment. I always feel like I'm treated like family. Kelly, Rose & Kelcie answered all my questions and I could tell they were smiling with their eyes above their masks. The new office is awesome. It's state of the art design, very open & bright. I know I'm gushing, but I love this office.

Staff are wonderful, and Dr. Robert has always been amazing. They recently moved into a beautiful building off of the sale. The only reason why they did not get a five star is a forgot to tell me they knew, so I drove to the old building and then search for the new building. The services are amazing at the new space is gorgeous and well located.

They didn't keep me waiting long before getting seen to. Genuinely friendly staff and dentist. They listened and accommodated to my needs. The dentist has good gentle hands when he worked on me. Same with the regular cleaning person too. The best experience of any dentist I've had in my life so far. I highly recommend them.

I don’t even know where to begin telling you about how wonderful this office is. The front office staff is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help you with what you need. The dental staff never made me feel rushed or like I was asking too many questions. They do a thorough job. I just love my hygienist Alyssa. Dr. Jo Gherardi is awesome. Very patient and willing to answer any and all questions. He provides thorough examinations and great work as well. Another huge thing for me was that they never advised unnecessary work just to bill your insurance and get paid. Coming from a dentist that strongly advised I get a ton of work done and then following up on those concerns with Dr. Jo, he assured me all of it would’ve been unnecessary. The office also made it possible financially to get the smile I’ve always wanted by fixing a few tiny concerns cosmetically. I recommend this place to any and everyone.

I can never say that they exceeded expectations as decades of being one of their clients has taught me to ALWAYS expect the highest level of caring, courtesy, competence, and professionalism. If I could, I would give them six stars.

This is an excellent local business that was recommended by a coworker/friend. Gherardi & Moore (G&M) is the best managed Doctors/Dental office I’ve ever experienced. For example: they use automated online services, I've never waited for an appointment, the front desk has always been friendly, personable, and timely, and the medical staff has never pushed any procedure/course of action/etc.—they’ve informed me of the options and left the decision to me without pressure. In short, G&M has the efficiency of a smooth streamlined business, great personal customer service, and well trained staff. Kudos!

They were amazing and courteous, when my wisdom tooth pain was getting intense, they were able to get me in right away. They then referred me to an oral surgeon across the hall from their office, and with in an hour and a half my wisdom tooth was extracted. I am so thankful for their promptness and compassion.

The front office staff is so friendly and so helpful. Susan, the hygienist, does a great job of cleaning my teeth. All three of the dentists are very caring and courteous. It is such a pleasure to experience such professionalism from the entire practice. I highly recommend them. Thanks.

This place is great. I've been a patient since 1999. Regular maintenance has really paid off. Nobody "likes" to go to the dentist but I know the staff well and they are the same ones I met early on. This makes visits more comfortable. Due to regular maintenance my visits are easier on me.

Gherardi & Moore have an excellent dental practice, and they have an excellent group of staff and workers. My teeth were cleaned yesterday by Dana, who was very friendly and did an outstanding job.

I've been going here since I was little, moved away for several years, and upon returning to ABQ I've resumed my visits. I've had braces, retainers, whitening trays, and the odd filling or two. I don't think you can find a better place in ABQ. -The atmosphere is relaxed and each room is open and has windows. There are (at least) two bathrooms. I don't think I've ever had an appointment be 'double booked' so I'm usually in and out. Managing stress while at the dentist is as easy as it's going to get. -All three dentists are professional and friendly and have a good sense of humor. One of them has been president of the state's dentistry board and been involved with the national American Dentistry Association. -The dental hygienists are usually very friendly and seem like they're well trained and making a solid effort to be gentle. You're still going to leave feeling brutalized, but that feeling just means your teeth are clean! -Receptionists are friendly and seem to work hard. -In spite of all this, prices seem fair and I usually pay out of pocket for cleanings twice a year. The dentists haven't ever pushed me towards unnecessary dental work and I haven't ever felt like they were trying to sell me extra stuff. -Free gum upon checkout! :D Seriously though there's a reason this place has 5.0 stars on Google Maps. If you're shopping around, I'd give them a call.

Gherardi and Moore has been our family dentist for almost 30 years. Braces, cavities and "appliances", we've had it all. The team is awesome and knows all about our whole family.
